Since weather conditions in Massachusetts are bad, I have decided to write about some trends regarding bags. It has been “snowing cats and dogs” lately and it is not very pleasant to be out. I believe two feet of snow have fallen within the last week and a half.
I decided initially to write about colorblock bags. However, I did notice that another trend was coming in at the same time – pastel or “candy” colours for spring. Here are my picks for pastel bags (I prefer to start with them since I cannot wait for springtime):

If I have to select which one to buy, I would not go for any of them. I like to keep my bags in neutral and classic colours since I wear colours in my clothing. However, I do like the light blue Michael Kors tote, and the soft pink Kate Spade Tote.
Following the trend of quilted skirts and jackets from last fall, I have been seeing quilted bags everywhere. My pick from the different items listed below is the mini quilted blue bag by Rebecca Minkoff.
