Ombre Trend Part 2 – What to purchase!

This is my second post concerning the ombre trend for this summer. The ombre pattern no longer consists of somber colours. It includes pastel and bright colours.

Here are few items that are on sale or below $100.00. My top picks are the short Roxy dress, and the fuchsia and purple Woodleigh dresses.

Here are more expensive ombre dresses. Most of these items are above $100 or sold at full price. They are made of a jersey fabric which is ideal for going away since it is wrinkle-free.

My top picks are the short dresses from Young, Fabulous & Broke. I love how the colours transition from a very dark grey to mint and then to blush – pink. I prefer them over the long ones since I am 5’4″ in terms of height. They are very functional since you can dress them up or down.

Here are dressier versions of ombre dresses.

My top pick is the Shoshanna dress because it is a combination of ombre and tie-dye patterns, something that I will be writing about in my next post.

Here are some combinations of ombre and other patterns and prints.

Usually the ombre pattern is combined with floral prints. I think the graphic skirt with giraffes is very unique. However, this skirt is no longer available for sale.

Next post will be about the tie-dye trend. However, I would like to add three beautiful high-end designer gowns. My favourite one is the one from Elie Saab.
