A Beautiful Quote from La Sombra del Viento

I am currently reading a Spanish novel called, “La Sombra del Viento,” by Carlos Ruiz Zafon. The novel has been translated to English and it is known as “The Shadow of the Wind.”

Here is one of my favorite quotes from the novel (the translation is below).

-Alguien dijo una vez que en el momento en que te paras a pensar si quieres a alguien, ya has dejado de quererle para siempre –dije. (ch. 21)

I said, “somebody said once that the moment you have to stop to think whether you love somebody, you have more likely stopped loving him/her forever. ”

I think this quote portrays a fact.
