When I checked Facebook this morning, I found a picture of Caitriona Balfe wearing a pink dress at the Today Show. I just told myself: Finally! One of my favorite colors is pink. The other one is purple. I also like to wear bright greens. Sincerely, I was in awe seeing Caitriona dressed in a pink dress.
I find pink feminine, flirty and playful. I like to combine it with purple, brown, gray, green and even red or a bright peach. As a result, I decided to write this post to include some pink dresses that I currently like. More Outlander posts are coming soon!

I like pink, but was hoping Caitriona would have worn a period dress from the season in Paris. The Today show would have been in awe over a dress like that. She had such little time. Maybe 3 minuted. A period dress would have left an memorable vision.
Absolutely! The dress she wore left an impression on me because I like the color. However, a period dress would have looked beautiful on her (she has the height!). However, she could have worn also something more like from the 40s. That would have been classy and timeless. I am currently working on another post about what Terry Dresbach said about the costumes at the Television Academy panel. It will be published later on tonight (and it has nothing to do with dress design but symbolism).
